FEATURED PHOTO

Too lazy to blog, so I thought I'd post a photo instead. Got this photo from a grade school classmate, who was kind enough to post the photo on FB. This was in 4th grade, and yes, I went to a Chinese School, but only until 4th grade. Then I moved to an international school south of the metro.

4th grade. So young and carefree. Who knew I'd be leading such a complicated life 20+ years after? :P Oh wait, complicated yet BLESSED life. ;)

Can you find me in this picture? :)

Some Pictures from EN2010. :)

My kids with my friend, G, and her kids. :)

The loooooooonnnnnnnngggg line to get official merchandise.

Yes, we are the Worship Generation!

How sweet to be loving each other and loving God. ;)

Day 2: praise and worship before Darlene Zschech's session.

Ok, I regret not going around to take nice pics of the crowd. But that wasn't my main purpose in bringing the cam. I was supposed to get a pic with Darlene Zschech on Day 2, after her session, but realized she could be so tired, so I told Jared I decided to pass. :P

Oh well. :) EN2010 was amazing. I can't wait 'til 2013!

What EN2010 Taught Me.

If there is one thing that God has carved into my heart after the EN2010 World Conference experience, it is this message from Grace Aiyedogbon of Nigeria -

"You cannot be offended and anointed at the same time. Move on!"

How does one expect God to bless you when you have bitterness in your heart? Forgive, move on, and see God move in your life.

What's New? MY|PHONE Christian Phone!

Last Friday, I was told at the last minute that I had to attend a launch that very evening. I wasn't looking forward to it (because I had arrived early the previous morning from a trip out of the country and was exhausted!), that is, until my dad mentioned it was for My|Phone.

My|Phone was to launch their latest phone offering - the Christian Phone! Too excited to explain what it is, but overall, it's a dual-sim qwerty phone with cool, Christian content (and more)! Ok, ok, I will let banner do the job of showing you what it is:

Imagine, 500 songs from 30 of your favorite Christian artists, all in one phone! And My|Phone uses a Yamaha sound chip with these phones, such that sound quality is comparable, if not better, than your handy-dandy MP3 player (think iPod)! It also includes an e-Bible plus many, more!

Looks interesting? Check out (and buy!) the new My|Phone Christian Phone on July 29, 30 and 31 at the HOUSE OF PRAISE PANAY AVENUE, QUEZON CITY SHOWROOM! I'll keep you guys posted as I gather more details on the selling blitz!

Oh, and the best part? Well, the price, of course! The new My|Phone Christian Phone sells at the low, affordable price of only P5,990! Think content! Think music! Think God! Think WOW! :)

Back!

Went on a vacay with the kids, but now back! T'was tiring but fun to be with them, and only them. Nothing like spending a week with the ones you love and the ones who truly love you back.

Will blog about the vacay soon!

MYOB.

Some of my relatives and friends have been snooping around and minding MY business, especially when it comes to what I do for my kids. I have an aunt, who, upon seeing the playhouse my kids had at home, exclaimed at how I buy useless stuff. I mean, what does she care??? She buys her grandkids expensive stuff too! I just want my kids to have a happy childhood, given the holes I have to fill. And it's not like I buy them material things to make up for my absence. I just want my kids to have the best childhood I can give them - similar to what I had growing up.

But then of course, my status in life prohibits me to spend much. So I sacrifice a lot of MY needs, desires, etc just so I can provide better things for them.

Take for example our yearly vacation. We literally save up for the vacay every year. My kids haven't had birthday parties (A's has been postponed forever) and they don't even get really nice Christmas presents because they know we save up for something BIG each year. And they really look forward to those yearly trips. It's not like I take them to Europe or to the US! I just bring them somewhere special each year (hello, the province can be special!) So anyway, tongues have been wagging about how I spend for vacations like I was rich! Hello???!!!!

Grr... why don't you just mind your own business! You don't even know half of my life story. Besides, I bet if you were in my shoes... well, you'll never be in my shoes, so stay o your side of the fence, will you?

July Already???!

Wow. It's July already! How fast! I still remember how it was when I was a kid, how I wished time would speed up a little. Now, it just flies. Zooms past when your minding your biz, and wooosh, you're nearing your thunder age. :P

WARNING: This is a blah-blah-blah post.

I took A to two VTRs/ Casting Calls today. Never thought it'd be soooooo tiring. I didn't have a nanny today (it's her off day) so I had to take the little one with us. We waited a good 5 hours for the second one! The place was buzzing with kids! I spoke with a few moms waiting for their kids' turn and learned that they do this almost every week! Whatttt??? Where do you find the energy?

A's coming out in a magazine sometime this month. She's been pretty excited lately, and would ask the magazine shop below Kid's Church if the particular issue's out already. Haha! I guess she was too young when the other issues came out to even remember or get excited.

~~~
Over 9 months ago, I booked a trip to the homeland for the 3 of us. Yep, 9 months ago and the trip happens this week. I am actually anxious. It'll be the first time for me to travel with the two kids alone. Last year, I took them to the homeland with A's nanny of 7 years (we all know she got pregnant again and left us around November of last year). Then on another trip (the one when 'the news' came out) was with my folks and sibs. So yea, anxious (hehe, no extra nannies on hand).
But RL's been pretty behaved lately. In fact, he has developed a liking for his stroller. He absolutely HATED it last year. But this year, he thinks it's some sort of a ride. So we're taking a lightweight one. I just hope it holds his weight for the next two weeks.
~~~

Ah! Lotsa things to do, and yet so little time. My upcoming week's packed with meetings! Yup, last minute stuff I need to get done before heading on that vacay. I just hope I survive.
