It's another BOOK Sale! Argh!

This time, it's from Books for Less. I know I haven't written about their recent promo, but sometime in May, Books for Less sold Gift Certificates for P500 - the value of which doubles to P1000 if you use the GCs in July. My kids aren't even done using the two GCs we had purchased, and now they announce this...

Another Warehouse Sale involving books! 

I swear, I can put up a small library with all the books we have collected. I brought home another book rack the other night just so I can keep recent and favorite reads organized for the kids.

Here's how we survived last year's warehouse sale.

Don't me ask me for instructions on how to get there by public transportation, because I still get lost each time I attempt to drive around the inner parts of Pasig. Here's a map to guide you. Good luck!

Crocs Mega Sale 2012

Looks like I'm missing this one this year. Which is surprising because I NEVER miss out on a Crocs MegaSale. But my budget calls for it. The little boy will be starting school soon. Not this June, maybe later in the year, but I HAVE to save up for it so. Yea. Missing this one. :(

The Crocs MegaSale is happening today through Sunday at the NBC Tent. Gates open at 10am, but lines are known to get crazy as early as 6am (even earlier!). Be careful when it rains, as there is little shade around NBC Tent. Here's what happened last year when it rained.

They hire extra contractual employees during the sale, please don't expect everyone to
be knowledgeable, friendly or fast. ;) Be a little considerate. They're trying their best to serve you.

Looking at these pictures make me want to go. LOL! Plus I saw the price list here, here, and here (thank you EDLR for sharing your photos!). I heard there weren't too many small pairs for young boys. And RL's practically the ONLY one who still wears Crocs in our family. Oh well, maybe I'll try checking it out on Sunday. If I don't make it, don't show me your great deals ha? I don't want to regret NOT going. LOL!

Preloved.

I know, I know. I still have that other blog, and I haven't posted in almost a year. It takes time to blog, and reality is... a single mom's job means kids first. Really, the past year has been nothing less than busy. So excuse the absence on the Count Your Blessings blog, I shall try to get back online soon. Maybe the new phone can help, at least it will be easier with all these new apps that allow you to post pics and content online with one click.

Anyway, summer's almost here (if it isn't already) and it means purging! Purging the closet, I mean (and the cupboards, the toy boxes, the garage and the attic). My kids have accumulated a ton (and I do mean a ton!) of stuff (both new and preloved) they no longer need. So here's another blogger site I'm launching soon. Richwell Kids Craze!

Guess who got a sneak peek? Well, moi, of course!

Richwell's Annual Warehouse Sale kicks off later today at exactly 1PM. My aunt and godmother Becca, knows MY, so I asked if she could get us invites to the strictly invitational preview yesterday. Thank heavens for my aunt, who knows practically everyone (actually, it's more like everyone knows her), she got us on the guest list! Love! Joy!

So KY and I went to check out the sale over lunch yesterday. No lines. No crowd. No fighting, shoving nor pushing. Just a handful of people shopping peacefully.

The warehouse this year is smaller than the one at Libis. So watch out for crazy lines (and crazy people!) and do come early.

Richwell's Kids Craze happens on the following dates:
November 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 
December 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20

Their warehouse sale hours are as follows:
Saturdays and Sundays -- 9:00am to 6:00pm 
Weekdays and Fridays -- 1:00pm to 6:00pm

How to get there:
The warehouse is at #34 Scout Torillo cor. Scout Limbaga, Quezon City.

From EDSA, get to Timog Avenue going to the Scout area (GMA 7 side). Head down towards Rotunda/ Timog-Tomas Morato intersection. Left on Scout Torillo (intersection where you see Metrobank), which is about a block away from the rotunda. Go down the length of two blocks until you reach Scout Limbaga. Tall warehouse building on the left before Scout Limbaga is your final destination! Entrance is on Scout Limbaga.

Bring baby wipes and hand sanitizer! If you're planning on scouring the shelves for seconds/ display units, it might be a wise idea to wear a mask (read: dusty). Oh, and don't forget to bring a helper so he/she can line up for you.

Expect long lines! And bring moolah as the sale is CASH BASIS ONLY!  Good luck, and enjoy shopping! I know I did. :)
