So yes, as announced on my Facebook Page yesterday, I am giving away two (2) Patron tickets to the August 14 Planetshakers concert! Aside from that, I am putting together two Swag Bags as consolation prizes (EDIT: Sponsor has added two more Swag Bags, so we now have a total of four (4) consolation prize winners). So I shall pick a total of five winners for this quick giveaway. So easy to join (well, easy is relative but you get my point), just follow the steps on Rafflecopter below.

Just a few reminders if you are joining this giveaway (oops, I published for a minute without this, but I need to get this out there so...):

ONLY JOIN IF...
... you can watch on Friday, AUGUST 14.
... you can claim the ticket prize at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on or before 7PM.
... you have a date with you when you pick up your prize (YOU CANNOT SELL THESE TICKETS. I WILL PERSONALLY HAND THEM TO YOU AS YOU WALK IN).

If you are joining for a friend, or a relative, you must be the one to claim the prize, and your 2pax using the tickets must be with you. I apologize now for being strict with the ticket prize because like you, I do not want these tickets to go to waste. I have witnessed people joining giveaways only to sell their prizes. Let us give these tickets to those who really want to worship with the band. I think they deserve to win over those who just join for the money, agree?

Also, just so we're clear, I will NOT take a selfie with the tickets in case you want to forfeit your prize. So please don't expect me to do so. I will be at the concert venue to work. Okay? Okay.

#HoarderDiaries | HI-TOP SALE BIN - AUGUST 8-9 WEEKEND!

You won't believe what happened to me over the weekend. But bah! It is something that needs to be forgotten, so forget about me telling you in detail - let's just say Murphy's Law was in effect. And yes, boohoo, everything went wrong.

One of the things that didn't go well in my favor was the car broke down and had to be brought to the shop at last minute Friday mid-afternoon. I got so frustrated with my car because it was just in the shop for more than a week when I was in Sydney, and then again, a week ago. Then all of a sudden, it started acting up again Wednesday afternoon. Sigh. So I was stuck with this service vehicle from the office (I had to force people to lend me one) because of all the luck, the weekend was packed with activities!

So anyway, I got my car back Saturday night - turns out it had a faulty starter that had to be replaced. While waiting for the car, the kids and I whiled away the time at Hi-Top Quezon Avenue. Check out what was on sale over the weekend. I shall head back in a while to check if they have more things today.

Was thinking of checking out the next door grocery all week last week, but didn't find time to do it. When I got to the office today, KY was in our conference room, having a meeting with a supplier. She was looking for something to munch after, so we decided to walk to Hi-Top.

I don't know what it is exactly about this ancient supermarket, but I love it. Because of social media, I have learned that a lot of my friends love shopping there, too. You always find great deals at their sale section. Today's sale bin had great finds. Here are some of them:

Because he was absent from Christian Living class when his teacher explained the Four Kinds Of Prayers, I took it upon myself to teach and explain the lesson to RL the day before he went back to school. Checking their online assignment app, I learned they were having a test on his first day back. So we studied all night.

The next day, I decided it was wise to review the lesson.

K: "I will say a prayer, then let me know what kind of prayer it is, okay?"
RL: "Okay."
K: "God is great. God is good..."
RL: "Adoration!"
K: "Okay, how about... 'Thank you, God, for the food'."
RL: "Thanksgiving!"
K: "How about... 'Bless us, Oh Lord, and these Thy gifts which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ, our Lord, Amen'?"
RL: "RECESS!"

Yep, I have a silly boy. LOL!
