I am going to break down my posts to different categories because I just have too many photos. I didn't have time to take haul photos, so I think I just might (might!) do a vlog on what I got. So anyway, starting off the #WOS (that's WHAT'S ON SALE) series for this Members' Treat at S&R! It's going to be a photo blog, because I will never get these posts out if I talk about each product on sale. Hehehe. I will add captions when the photo doesn't speak for itself.
Here are some of what's on sale for FOOD, CONDIMENTS & DRINKS! I can't take photos of everything, lest I want to be reprimanded by the store manager again. Hehehe. There are a number of alcoholic drinks and sodas on sale, but I didn't get to take photos. Nor was I able to take the deals for the bakery, meat, produce... Sorry!

We first discovered Nescafé's Smoovlatté in Hong Kong. I had needed coffee to soothe a pressing headache. So the kids and I walked into a 7-Eleven and saw it sitting on the chiller shelf. Didn't think it would be anything special, but surprisingly, it was true to its name. Smooth and good!
We took a couple of bottles back to Manila. I gave one to KC, my brother's coffee-addict friend, who stocks up on canned Nescafé coffee by the box. He loves his canned ready-to-drink coffee, yet asked for a bottle of Smoovlatté when I claimed (in a shout out on IG) that this one was way, way better than anything in a can. Haha, me and my big mouth.

So we've been hoarding these lately. So far, the supermarkets don't have it... YET. Heard though that Rustan's got it recently (unconfirmed), but so far, no luck at the big stores. Smoovlatté comes in a 190ml bottle and retails for P39.00 at Mini Stop. The best part is... this whole bottle is only 110 Calories! I've been keeping tabs on Calories lately, and have been trying to keep my daily intake to a maximum of 1,000 kcal. So this ain't so bad.

Now please don't go lecturing me about coffee. I am no coffee connoisseur, and I will not claim to be one. I don't even drink a lot of coffee, and have actually limited my coffee drinking to about twice a week (health consequences). I was driving to work the other day and decided to get myself brunch from the McDonald's Drive-Thru. I was surprised to see new floats on their menu board - The NEW McFloat Summer Medley. Because it was too early for dessert, I made a mental note to try one in the afternoon. Lucky me, my office is a stone's throw away from McDonald's Quezon Avenue. It was hot that day, so it was the perfect excuse to fit in a float (or two!) for merienda (I actually upgraded my cheeseburger meal to get the float, but shhh, don't let my diet know, LOL). I tried the new Blueberry Sprite McFloat. Mmm, t'was good.
That was Wednesday afternoon. The next day, when I took A to the office with me because we had to "review" for Friday's last day of exams, we drove-thru for more. We tried the Green Apple Sprite McFloat. Mmmm. Sooo good, too. Nothing like a great thirst-quencher for the hot, humid summer months!

I think McDonald's chose the perfect celebrity endorser for their newest offering, because Xian is such a hottie, you're gonna want to cool off each time you see him on the telly. Xian can walk on sunshine with me anytime. LOL! Seriously, the new floats are fun drinks, and Xian's youthfulness and fun image matches McDonald's new products to the T. I mean, Xian is love and McDo is Love Ko 'To, right? Haha! (ang corny ko!)
